I wouldn't say he's lying, he just sees the world through a different perspective, he sees it more fantastical than ordinary people. Because of this, he is able to leave the Earth in as wonderfully celebrated way as he arrived...

Submitted by: carlymarie7 Big fish is just a movie about a man who had a life of adventures, but later on, made them into even bigger adventures, whether they be true or not. :) Talk about livin' life to the fullest XD
