We live in a corrupt mankind that doesn't appreciate life and are ungrateful to be alive. That's the point that this movie tries to make. It's about people being captured by a philosopher who puts them in deadly traps to test their survival in order to teach them a deeper meaning of life.

Jigsaw makes criminals suffer for their actions, he puts them in traps which he builds out of materials he finds. I think he is simply making them pay for their actions by dishing out an extreme amount of pain and torture.

This story revolves on jigsaw, a man dying out of an ailment and his victims, people who has nothing to do with him (or somehow crossed his path) and is wasting their lives.

Basically, it's about a man counting the days of his life who is angry with the people who has all the time in the world but doesn't see the sense of it.

It's about a sick person making other people realize how lucky they are and how much their missing it. but the catch is, his ways of making them realize that is on a life-and-death situation, and at time would even require them to hurt themselves and other people in the process.
